OK! Magazine OK! is a British weekly magazine specializing in celebrity news. Originally launched as a monthly, its first issue was published in April 1993. In September 2004, OK! publishers Northern and Shell launched in Australia as a monthly title – the magazine went weekly in October 2006. In 2005, a US version was launched, followed by an Indian edition in May 2006, a Spanish-language version in Mexico in 2006, a Bulgarian-language version in 2007 and a Spanish edition in 2008. OK! is the world’s biggest celebrity lifestyle magazine, with more than 30 million readers worldwide, and now appears in 19 countries (Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, China, Germany, Greece, India, Malaysia, Mexico, Middle East, Philippines, Russia, Spain, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, UK and the US).

OK! is the best selling celebrity gossip magazine in the UK . A new issue is released every Tuesday. The magazine itself also has two inner magazines called Hot Stars and "OK! USA". OK! sells on newsstands for £2.60 per issue, £99 for an annual subscription (51 issues) and £49.50 for a half-year subscription (26 issues).

The magazine tends to feature exclusive interviews and personal revelations from celebrities including engagements and pregnancies. In 2005, celebrity pregnancies were revealed by Jordan and Peter, Steven Gerrard and Alex Curran. Stars such as Liberty X singer Michelle Heaton and Andy Scott-Lee announced their engagement with exclusive deals with OK! magazine.

The magazine has a usual policy of publishing only positive celebrity profiles, but in a 2007 interview with Britney Spears, Spears' behavior was so erratic that OK! decided to break this policy.

Along with Britney, OK! also interviewed her mother, Lynne Spears and her younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, on the issue of Jamie Lynn's pregnancy. This issue was the best selling issue of 2007.

In August 2008 - Britney Spears had done an interview with OK! at her home and it was revealed that Britney's old erratic behavior was behind her, and she discussed in the interview that she is "happy, healthy and excited for the future". The interview also had pictures which featured Britney and her children.

OK! is best known for its coverage of celebrity nuptials. OK! is also one of the most popular magazines including the latest celebrities gossips.

Its biggest scoops were Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas in 2000, David and Victoria Beckham, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, Jordan and Peter André, and Ashley Cole and Cheryl Tweedy.

OK! was awarded £1,033,156 in a lawsuit, but lost it when the case came to the court of appeal.[2] OK! had exclusive rights to the wedding of Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, but its rival Hello! magazine, published pictures as well, so OK! sued.

In October 2005, three celebrity weddings took place on the same day—Jordan and Peter, Kate Garraway and Derek Draper, and Samia Ghadie and property developer Matthew Smith. OK! covered them all over separate issues. The biggest wedding of the three (Jordan and Peter) was covered over two bumper issues.

The same happened for the wedding of Ashley and Cheryl Cole wedding as well as Christina Aguilera's wedding. OK! devoted an issue with photos of Tony Parker and Eva Longoria's wedding.
